NEWS RELEASE
Phone: 928-777-6961 Aircraft Technical Publishers CEO Caroline Daniels to Speak at Embry-Riddle Prescott Campus Commencement
The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, in the campus Activity Center. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which also will include the commissioning of new officers by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army. Widely acknowledged by the aircraft industry as a pioneer of aviation compliance and safety information systems, Daniels and two others founded ATP 35 years ago to provide global information services to customers in commercial and general aviation. As the company’s first operations leader, Daniels created and implemented the ATP “single-source” aircraft library concept, developing cornerstone database and computing applications for ATP. In the following years she led the establishment of source affiliations, which was central to the growth of ATP product offerings. She was appointed president in 1984 and elected chairman of the board and chief executive officer in 1989. At the helm of ATP, her focus on quality, product innovation, customer satisfaction, and business strategy has been pivotal to the company’s growth and leadership position. As a leader in the aviation industry, Daniels frequently speaks at conferences and currently serves on Embry-Riddle’s President’s Advisory Board and the General Aviation Manufacturing Association’s Board of Directors. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado, graduated from Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program, and earned a pilot’s license to expand her aviation knowledge.
