Financial Aid
At Embry-Riddle, many of our students work part time. Earnings can be used for personal expenses or saved to help with tuition charges. On-campus jobs in the library, labs, the cafeteria, flight lines, and various offices are available at convenient hours between classes, after classes, and on weekends. Embry-Riddle's Student Employment Office locates on- and off-campus jobs for eligible and interested students. Generally, it's not a good idea for new students or freshmen to work too many hours while adjusting to college life and trying to achieve a satisfactory grade point average. However, new students can earn up to $2,000 per year by working about 12 hours a week. Offers of student employment on financial aid award letters are based on availability at the time of enrollment and award amounts must be earned. Wages are not credited to student accounts and do not have to be repaid. On the Daytona Beach campus, the Student Employment Office is located in the C-Building, Room 406, Student Center; the phone number is (386)226-6320. On the Prescott campus, the Student Employment Office is located in Building 14; the phone number is (928)777-3766. For current jobs information, log into ERNIE, find Student Services in the left menu and click on Employment Services, then Student Employment.
